A Q&A About Our Venue
We’ve received several requests for tours in the past two weeks, as well as questions about where we are in the renovation process. I thought this week’s blog post would be a great time to answer those questions for everyone and provide an update on where we are — and where we’re going — with our renovations.
So, here’s a little Q&A for you, based upon this week’s most popular questions:
1. I know you’re still renovating, but are you giving tours?
Absolutely! We love showing folks around the venue and have given several tours already. Saturdays are great for tours, as well as Sunday afternoons. We currently do not do daytime tours. Contact us today for an appointment!
2. What are your wedding packages, and how much do they cost?
We have two wedding packages. Our most popular package is called “Happily Ever After.” The package price is $4200. A Friday night rehearsal/dinner and Saturday ceremony makes this package ideal for many of our couples. It also includes an extensive list of services and amenities.
We are currently running an exclusive offer for the first 10 couples who book Happily Ever After — $1000 off!!! To take advantage of this offer, we do ask couples to pay the entire package price at the time of booking.
Our Sunday package, “Wedded Bliss,” is $2800. This package includes a weeknight rehearsal/dinner and Sunday afternoon ceremony. This is the perfect package if you plan to host a smaller number of guests.
Check out our weddings page for more information on both packages, as well as the amenities list.
3. Does your venue host events other than weddings?
Yes, we do! If you want to host an event on the weekend, the same rates would apply as with our wedding packages. We do not price for a single Friday or Saturday — the price would include both days. We do not have weekday pricing listed on our website; however, we would be happy to quote a price for your event.
4. Are you booking weddings now?
We sure are! Our contract is currently being finalized. Right now, we’re booking weddings in good faith. When our contract is complete (in another week or two), we’ll then sit down with couples and make it official. No money will be collected until that meeting.
5. How are your renovations coming along and when do you expect to open?
Our renovations are rolling, and we are very pleased with the work that’s happening on the farm! Construction will happen in phases. We’ve just wrapped up Phase 1, which included lots of demo, cleanup, painting, and some construction (new barn doors, loft stairs & railings, and work in the office).
Phase 2 will begin Monday and will bring the greatest changes so far. We’re looking forward to a completed office space (YAY!) and should see the restrooms, bridal room addition, and kitchen walls all framed out in the free stalls. We’re also going to pour a concrete floor in the lower level of the hay barn as well as add insulation and board and batten, which will completely change the look of the lower level!
Phase 3 will wrap up our renovations. This last stretch will finish-off all of our newly built restrooms, bridal room and kitchen and we’ll do extensive landscaping. Our silo project will be completed with a floor and fun finishes. (Guys, you’re going to love it!) We’ll also bring in tables, chairs, and all of the pretty things our brides are going to adore!
Renovations will be completed in early spring. The earliest wedding we will book is the weekend of May 4 & 5. Since we don’t know what kind of delays wintertime will bring, we don’t feel comfortable promising the venue for April weddings.
I hope this Q&A has answered your questions and given you a better understanding of where we are with our renovations. Have a different question? Leave it in the comments, and we’ll get back with you!
As mentioned in question 1, we’re giving tours now! We’ve got several booked for this weekend and are already scheduling into next Saturday. If you’d like to schedule a time to tour and further discuss the venue and packages, contact us today!
